There are so many great Las Vegas nightclubs. It can be difficult to choose the right one since every club plays a different style of music and attract a different crowd.
After spending more time in these clubs than I have in my own living room over the past couple of years, I put together a complete list of the best Las Vegas nightclubs.
In this article, I’ll walk you through which nightclubs are the best based on which hotel you’re staying at, your musical preference, and your budget. I’ll also cover how to get the guest list, so you can avoid paying a cover charge. These are the best clubs in Vegas.
Best Las Vegas Nightclubs
1. XS Nightclub
XS Nightclub has been consistently ranked as the number one nightclub in the world for several years now. It’s a half indoor, half outdoor venue with a giant pool directly in the center. The club has 4 separate bars making it easy to grab a drink.
This is the most luxurious Las Vegas nightclub, featuring top-notch service and a DJ lineup filled with the biggest names in the industry. If you want the peak Vegas experience, get bottle service here, it will absolutely blow you away.
- Location: Encore at the Wynn
- Days open: Friday, Saturday & Sunday
- Type of music: EDM & Top 40
XS features a star-studded lineup of EDM DJs like Marshmellow, Diplo, and The Chainsmokers. The venue is open Friday through Sunday. Sunday is the best night to go, as they open the pool up for Nightswim (April – October).
Women always get free entry to XS Nightclub utilizing the guest list. Men must have an even ratio of women in their group in order to get in for free. Groups of guys without girls can usually still use the guest list to get reduced-priced tickets.
2. Omnia Nightclub
Omnia gives XS a run for its money as the number one nightclub in the city. This mega-club has 3 separate rooms all playing different types of music, including an outside rooftop terrace.
Omnia has a high-tech spinning LED chandelier that makes an already excellent EDM performance that much better. This is one of the busiest nightclubs in Las Vegas, and for good reason. The DJs here are in high demand and the lineup can go head-to-head with any club in Vegas (Steve Aoki has been a staple here for years).
- Location: Caesars Palace
- Days open: Tuesday, Friday & Saturday
- Type of music: EDM
The club is typically regarded as an EDM nightclub, but each of the 3 rooms plays a different genre of music. The main room plays EDM, while the second room (called the Heart of Omnia) plays hip hop classics. Finally, the rooftop Terrace plays trance-inducing house music.
The best day to go to Omnia is Tuesday, since it’s the only Vegas nightclub open that night. Both men and women who sign up for the Omnia Nightclub guest list will get free entry. However, there is a cutoff time around 12:30 am, and the lines get extremely long. It is imperative that you get in line by 10:15 pm at the latest if you choose to use the guest list.
3. Drai’s Nightclub
Drai’s is the only nightclub with a rooftop pool party in Las Vegas. This half indoor, half outdoor club is located on the rooftop of the Cromwell, and is known as the top Vegas nightclub for hip hop and R&B music. It features live performances from the hottest hip hop artists every single week.
- Location: Cromwell
- Days open: Friday, Saturday & Sunday
- Type of music: Hip Hop
Drai’s can only be described as a live concert, inside of a nightclub. Although Drai’s caters to the hip hop crowd, they do play a small amount of EDM. Some artists who have performed at Drai’s include Migos, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Trey Songz, and Snoop Dogg.
Women generally get free entry on the Drai’s Nightclub guest list. Men, however, will need an even ratio of women in their party to get in for free. Keep in mind that the pool at Drai’s is only open April through October.
4. Hakkasan Nightclub
Hakkasan is a gigantic 5-level venue (although, the first 2 stories are technically a restaurant). The nightclub is designed like a maze, making for an adventure whenever you lose a member of your group.
The club has 6 total bars, making it easy to grab one of your favorite cocktails. Two of those bars are located on the 3rd floor, dubbed the Ling Ling Lounge, which is large enough to be its own nightclub.
- Location: MGM Grand
- Days open: Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
- Type of music: EDM
The Ling Ling Lounge plays a solid mix of hip hop and top 40. In the main room, you’ll get a heavy dose of EDM. Hakkasan Nightclub is run by the same group as Omnia, so they share the same set of EDM DJs.
It’s open Thursday through Sunday, but it’s best to go when a big DJ is playing-which is normally Friday and Saturday. Men get free entry on the Hakkasan Nightclub guest list along with women. Just arrive by 10:15 pm as the lines literally go out the door.
5. Marquee Nightclub
Marquee is one of the craziest Las Vegas clubs. You will feel the energy in this place the second you step off of the elevator. The bottle service tables at this club are designed in tiers, so you have a great view of the stage from every angle.
There is also an outside area where Marquee Dayclub is located, and a hidden upstairs “library,” where they hand out headphones and let you pick what music you want to listen to.
- Location: Cosmopolitan
- Days open: Friday, Saturday & Sunday
- Type of music: EDM & Hip Hop
The dance club plays a combination of hip hop and EDM music. Marquee is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. All days are good days to visit Marquee, although the weekends are typically better.
As with other clubs, all women get free entry when they sign up for the Marquee Nightclub guest list, while men are required to even ratio. Marquee occasionally gives guest list members access to an open bar as well.
6. Encore Beach Club at Night
Encore Beach Club at Night, or EBC for short, is the nighttime version of the popular dayclub by the same name. EBC at Night is the only Vegas nightclub that is exclusively a pool party every time it’s open.
You are not required to get in the water, but most people at this club will be in swimsuits and bikinis. EBC usually closes down in the winter, but while it’s open it is WILD. It’s one of the largest nightclubs in Vegas, and it is 100% outdoors.
- Location: Encore at the Wynn
- Days open: Wednesday, Friday & Saturday
- Type of music: EDM
EBC at Night shares the same DJs with XS Nightclub. That means that the Chainsmokers, Diplo, and RL Grime, among others, perform here.
Encore Beach Club is open Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Wednesday nights are always the best, as EBC holds its industry night on Wednesdays. Women can gain free entry to EBC at Night by putting their name on the guest list. Again, men will have to have an even ratio of women with them to get in for free.
7. Jewel Nightclub
Jewel is one of the smaller Las Vegas nightclubs, but it’s a great venue. The lighting and sound systems here are world-class and are amplified by the club’s size. Jewel has two levels, the main dance floor, and a second floor, which is lined with balcony suites. The themed VIP bottle service suites on the second floor give you access to an amazing view overlooking the entire club.
- Location: Aria
- Days open: Monday, Friday & Saturday
- Type of music: Hip Hop & EDM
Jewel can play either hip hop or EDM music depending on the night. Occasionally, the club hosts live hip hop performances as well. You can party at Jewel Monday, Friday, and Saturday however, the biggest DJs tend to perform on the weekends.
Everyone who signs up for the Jewel Nightclub guest list will typically get free entry, assuming that they are inside before the 12:30 am cutoff.
8. Tao Nightclub
Tao Nightclub has been a staple of Vegas nightlife for years. It’s located on the second floor of the Venetian and is one of the most intimate venues in Las Vegas. The stage is so close to the dance floor that you can almost touch the DJ.
- Location: Venetian
- Days open: Thursday, Friday & Saturday
- Type of music: Hip Hop, EDM & Top 40
The club tends to play a combo of hip hop and EDM music, but there is also some top 40 thrown into the mix. Thursday is local night at Tao, making it the best night to go. But you can also visit on Friday and Saturday.
As far as the guest list goes, women can get free admission if they join the Tao Nightclub guest list. Men can join too but are required to have an even ratio.
9. Light Nightclub
Light happens to be one of the longest-standing nightclubs in Las Vegas. As the name suggests, the club routinely puts on spectacular shows using its state-of-the-art lighting and sound equipment. Light doesn’t get as crowded as some of the other venues, making it one of the better dance clubs.
Light offers great bargains when it comes to bottle service. If you are looking to enjoy the Las Vegas bottle service experience without breaking the bank, this is a good place to start.
- Location: Mandalay Bay
- Days open: Friday & Saturday
- Type of music: EDM & Top 40
You’ll find mostly EDM music here, although the DJs do incorporate a fair amount of top 40. Light is only open on the weekends, but both men and women can usually get in for free by signing up for the Light Nightclub guest list.
10. Chateau Nightclub
Chateau Nightclub can be found directly underneath the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Hotel. Because of its location in the center of the Las Vegas Strip, Chateau offers an amazing view of the Bellagio fountains.
This is one of the best Las Vegas nightclubs for dancing since it’s not as crowded as some of the other clubs mentioned. Their large dance floor is perfect for bachelor or bachelorette parties. Plus, Chateau has some of the most competitive bottle service prices in Las Vegas.
- Location: Paris Hotel
- Days open: Thursday, Friday & Saturday
- Type of music: Hip Hop & Top 40
The venue plays a combination of hip hop and top 40. The DJs at Chateau also tend to be more interactive with the crowd than DJs at any other nightclub. Events are hosted here Thursday through Saturday, but Saturday tends to be the busiest night.
Groups of women get free entry when they sign up for the Chateau Nightclub guest list. Men are going to need to have an even amount of women in their group.
11. Foundation Room Las Vegas
Although Foundation Room closely resembles a nightclub, it reminds me more of a rooftop lounge. This venue overlooks the entire Las Vegas Strip, providing an unparalleled view at night.
If you’re looking to grab a few cocktails with your friends but don’t want to deal with large crowds, you should visit Foundation Room. The posh interior has plenty of seating and is extremely comfortable, which is perfect for a chill evening.
- Location: Mandalay Bay
- Days open: Friday & Saturday
- Type of music: Hip Hop, Top 40 & EDM
Foundation Room is located on the 63rd floor of Mandalay Bay and plays a combination of hip hop, top 40, and EDM music. The club is open until 3 am on the weekends, and offers free entry to everyone on the Foundation Room guest list.
12. On The Record
On The Record is a unique nightclub, unlike any other in Las Vegas. It’s designed like a speakeasy bar and plays the most popular songs from the ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s, along with today’s hits. You will hear long-lost hits from every era of music that will make you want to sing along.
The club is really fun and is guaranteed to bring up memories from songs that you used to love but have long forgotten. You can even book one of the private karaoke rooms inside of the venue.
- Location: Park MGM
- Days open: Wednesday, Friday & Saturday
- Type of music: Mix of everything
On The Record is open Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. I find that the club can actually be busier during the week than on the weekend if there is a local event being hosted. There are no ratio requirements for the On The Record events guest list.
13. Apex Social Club
Apex Social Club is located on the 55th floor of the Palms Resort Casino. Apex is actually more of a high-end lounge than a traditional night club, but it still gives off a nightclub vibe.
You will find plenty of people dancing here, along with numerous VIP bottle service tables, and a striking view of the Las Vegas skyline. Apex Social Club has one of the best views in Las Vegas because of how high up it is. Forget the cocktails, the view alone makes this club worth checking out.
- Location: Palms Resort
- Days open: Friday, Saturday & Sunday
- Type of music: Hip Hop & Top 40
Apex plays a lot of hip hop and top 40. Like On the Record, the music here is really easy to sing along to. It’s open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Apex Social Club has a guest list that allows women free entry. Men must have an even ratio of women in their group in order to use the guest list.
14. Zouk Nightclub
Zouk Nightclub is one of the newest night clubs in Las Vegas. It’s not the biggest venue, but it features some of the most technologically advanced audio and visual equipment of any nightclub on the Strip.
The club features multiple bars, making it easy to quickly grab a drink as you party. Zouk is one of the hottest nightclubs in Las Vegas right now, along with its sister pool party Ayu Dayclub.
- Location: Resorts World
- Days open: Thursday, Friday & Saturday
- Type of music: EDM & Top 40
Zouk plays a heavy dose of EDM music, but also a bit of top 40. You can find the club located in Resorts World on the north end of the Strip. Groups of women can get into Zouk Nightclub for free on the guest list. Like most other Las Vegas night clubs, men can get free entry as well but are required to have an even ratio.
Nightclubs on the Las Vegas Strip
Most of the nightclubs in Las Vegas are found directly on Las Vegas Blvd. In fact, all of the nightclubs mentioned on this list are located on the Strip (with the exception of Apex Social Club). If you’re staying at any hotel on the Strip, you’ll have no problem getting to any of these clubs.
Most Popular Las Vegas Nightclub
The hottest Las Vegas nightclubs right now are Zouk, XS, Omnia, and Drai’s. Those clubs draw in the most people on a nightly basis. Marquee is also very popular, but it doesn’t have the same high-powered DJ lineups offered by the other venues.
When did Nightclubs in Las Vegas Reopen?
Most Las Vegas nightclubs reopened in the summer of 2021. However, not all clubs are currently offering free guest lists in the same capacity that they once did.
With that being said, you can still get into most of these venues by paying a cover. Booking bottle service is always an option as well. If you’re looking to learn about Las Vegas bottle service specials, I recommend you check out the post I recently wrote about cheap bottle service in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas Clubs that are Open Tonight
It’s easy to find a nightclub that’s open on the weekend, but there are fewer Las Vegas clubs open Sunday through Thursday. Fortunately, there are clubs in Las Vegas open 7 days a week. If you’re looking for a Las Vegas nightclub open during the week, check out this article. You will find a detailed list of what nightclubs are open on specific days by reading that post, along with an event calendar.
If you’re wondering what time nightclubs open, you’ll be pleased to know that most Las Vegas nightclubs have the same hours. They typically open around 10:30 pm and remain open until 4:00 am. Some clubs may choose to reduce their hours if they aren’t too busy on a particular night, but they rarely closed before 3:00 am.
Other Las Vegas Nightlife Options
Aside from the mega-clubs, Las Vegas nightlife has a lot to offer. There are plenty of bars on the Strip and in downtown Las Vegas. You can explore these nightlife venues yourself, or you can hop on a Las Vegas club crawl tour.
Club crawls are essentially tours where a host takes you around Las Vegas to different bars and nightclubs. The host helps you secure drink specials, avoid cover charges, and meet new friends as you party. The tours usually make stops at multiple venues throughout the night, so you always get your money’s worth. If you want to check out more than Las Vegas night club, this is a great way to do it.
How To Get Free Entry to Las Vegas Nightclubs
Something I highly recommend for anyone hitting the nightclub scene in Vegas is the guest list. All of the nightclubs in Las Vegas, NV have a free guest list. These guest lists have been a staple of Las Vegas nightlife for many years.
The guest list is an easy and simple way to gain entry into the best clubs in Vegas. I put together a list of the guest list rules for all of the Las Vegas nightclubs here. The same goes for pool parties in Vegas.
How Much Does Bottle Service Cost at Las Vegas Nightclubs
Getting bottle service at a Las Vegas nightclub isn’t cheap. However, it is the best way to enjoy Las Vegas nightlife. If you’re curious how much a VIP table costs, I went to all the Las Vegas nightclubs and got bottle service quotes. That article has a lot of information and should give you a good idea of how much bottle service costs at every club in Las Vegas.
Bottle service is the best way to through a party in Vegas. Getting a table is also one of the best things to do if you’re looking to show off on Instagram. Plus, most nightlife venues have a separate entrance for VIP clients with bottle service reservations, so you’ll get expedited entry.
