I recently booked a winter trip to Las Vegas but was having a difficult time finding a hotel with an indoor swimming pool. So I did some research to find out which Las Vegas hotels actually have an indoor pool. After calling nearly every hotel in Las Vegas, this is what I found.

There are only 5 hotels near the Las Vegas Strip that have indoor pools:

  • Platinum Hotel
  • Embassy Suites Convention Center Las Vegas
  • La Quinta Inn & Suites Tropicana
  • Baymont Inn & Suites Las Vegas South Strip
  • Bluegreen Club 36

After calling all of the hotels, I realized that a lot of the information online about hotel pools in Las Vegas is either outdated or inaccurate. So, I decided to put together this guide to help you find the best hotel.

In this article, I’ll compare the hotels that have indoor pools based on location, price, amenities, and the pool itself. By the end, you’ll know exactly which ones are actually worth staying at.

Indoor Pools Las Vegas, Best Las Vegas Hotels with Indoor Pools

There currently aren’t any hotels located directly on the Las Vegas Strip with indoor pools (surprising, I know). However, a few hotels on the Strip do have heated OUTDOOR pools that are open year-round. If you’re looking to stay directly on the Strip, I wrote another article about the best heated pools in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Hotels with Indoor Pools on the Strip

These are the only Las Vegas hotels with indoor pools located near the Strip. A few other hotels have indoor pools, but they’re a bit further away from the action. I’ll cover those in the next section.

Platinum Hotel

The Platinum Hotel is one of the few hotels in Vegas that has both an indoor and outdoor pool. Both pools are heated, so they’re open year-round. Also, the hotel is located within walking distance of the Strip, so all of the best attractions are close by.

The outdoor pool at the Platinum is slightly larger than the indoor pool, but they are both about 4 feet deep. You can definitely swim laps at this hotel if you wanted to.

  • Location: 1 block off of the Las Vegas Strip
  • Indoor Pools: Yes
  • Average Price (weekday): $140
  • Average Price (weekend): $200
  • Hotel Rating: 4.4/5 stars
  • Best for: Overall best hotel

There is a capacity limit of about 100 people, but since it’s only open to hotel guests you don’t really have to worry about overcrowding. Towels are provided and there is plenty of seating around both pools.

Overall, Platinum Hotel has one of the best indoor pools in Las Vegas. If you plan on staying at the hotel, they also have a few other great amenities, including parking, WiFi, fitness center, meeting rooms, a rooftop terrace, in-room kitchen, television, and a walk-out balcony in every room (balconies are a hot commodity in Vegas). Room service and dining are available as well since the hotel has a lounge and restaurant.

The hotel is also very kid-friendly for a hotel in Las Vegas since every room is equipped with a queen-sized pull-out bed. Families can take advantage of the spacious rooms that make this one of the most popular off-Strip hotels in the city.

Prices are very reasonable for what you’re getting, especially during the week. You can get the best rates from the Platinum Hotel page.

Embassy Suites Convention Center Las Vegas

The Embassy Suites, located near the Las Vegas Convention center is another hotel with an indoor pool. A walk to the Las Vegas Strip isn’t too far since it’s only about 2 blocks from Las Vegas Boulevard. You can quickly access the entertainment found at the casinos on the Strip.

I would say that the indoor pool at Embassy Suites is slightly larger than the Platinum indoor pool, but not by much. However, it would be tough to do laps in this pool since it curves. It’s definitely more suited for recreation than working out, which isn’t a surprise in Las Vegas.

  • Location: 2 blocks off of the Las Vegas Strip
  • Indoor Pools: Yes
  • Average Price (weekday): $110
  • Average Price (weekend): $200
  • Hotel Rating: 4/5 stars
  • Best for: Great deal on certain dates

In addition to the indoor pool, the hotel also has a hot tub on the property. Both are always open year-round, which is a big plus. There is plenty of seating, along with tables around the pool area.

This Las Vegas hotel is very kid-friendly and has a few amenities that other hotels do not, including a complimentary breakfast. Guests get access to a few of the other amenities on the property including self-serve laundry, free Wi-Fi, a fitness center, a business center, and an in-room refrigerator. Some rooms also have a walk-out balcony (again, balconies are rare in Las Vegas).

The Embassy Suites is one of the solid mid-level hotels in Las Vegas with indoor pools. Their rooms are very affordable as long as there isn’t a big convention going on. You’ll find weekday prices for rooms hover around $100/night, but weekend prices fluctuate from $100-$400 depending on the week. You can get the best pricing on the Embassy Suites page.

La Quinta Inn & Suites Las Vegas Tropicana

The La Quinta Inn & Suites Tropicana is another Las Vegas hotel with an indoor pool. It’s located a bit further from the Las Vegas Strip than the other hotels on this list, however, it does have some serious advantages.

The indoor pool at this hotel is open year-round, along with the hot tub located beside it. The pool is fairly large and about 4 feet deep.

  • Location: 3 blocks off of the Las Vegas Strip
  • Indoor Pools: Yes
  • Average Price (weekday): $120
  • Average Price (weekend): $180
  • Hotel Rating: 3.9/5 stars
  • Best for: Budget option

This is one of the best budget hotels in the area because it doesn’t charge you extra for things that should be included. It’s one of the few hotels in Las Vegas that doesn’t charge a resort fee. Some of the amenities on the property include breakfast, free parking, free Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, a fitness center, and a business center.

Since the La Quinta doesn’t charge an extra $20 a night in resort fees, it’s an excellent hotel option for anyone on a tight budget. Just make sure you stay at the Tropicana location if you want to stay at a hotel close to the Las Vegas Strip. The best prices are available directly on the La Quinta website.

Baymont Inn & Suites Las Vegas South Las Vegas Strip

One more hotel with an indoor pool in Las Vegas is the Baymont Inn & Suites. You can find this hotel about 2 blocks south of Mandalay Bay, not too far from the Welcome to Las Vegas Sign. It’s conveniently located close to the airport and the Las Vegas Premium Outlets South.

The hotel has a small indoor pool right next to their fitness center. It’s about 3 feet deep and great for kids. However, it is on the smaller side, so I wouldn’t recommend trying to swim laps here.

  • Location: 2 blocks south of the main Las Vegas Strip
  • Indoor Pools: Yes
  • Average Price (weekday): $80
  • Average Price (weekend): $140
  • Hotel Rating: 3.4/5 stars
  • Best for: Budget option

While it is located a bit further from the Las Vegas Strip, Baymont does have some decent amenities. A few of the hotel amenities free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, free parking, fitness center, business center, in-room refrigerator, and self-serve laundry. This hotel also offers larger family-sized rooms if you have kids.

This is another fantastic hotel option if you’re on a budget and still want access to an indoor pool. Rooms are consistently only about $80 per night during the week and about $140/night on the weekend. You’ll find the best rates if you purchase a room on the Baymont Inn & Suites Las Vegas page.

Bluegreen Club 36

The Bluegreen Club is a timeshare resort that allows non-members to book rooms. This hotel is located right behind the MGM Grand, so you can walk to the Las Vegas Strip from here. The hotel also has a free shuttle to the Strip that runs every 30 minutes.

Bluegreen Vacations Club has one of the bigger indoor pools in Las Vegas. I would argue it’s also one of the nicest. The entire pool area is very clean, plus there are plenty of lounge chairs around the pool.

  • Location: 3 blocks off of the Las Vegas Strip
  • Indoor Pools: Yes
  • Average Price: $150
  • Hotel Rating: 4.2/5 stars
  • Best for: Best overall pool complex

The indoor pool is heated year-round, but there is also a hot tub if that’s more your style. If it gets warm enough, there is a sun deck nearby where you can catch up on your tan (it’s always sunny in Las Vegas).

Overall, this is a fantastic Las Vegas property with a ton of amenities. The rooms in the hotel are actually 1 and 2-bedroom suites that include a living room, kitchenette, and in-room washer and dryer. Other property amenities include a fitness center, business center, free Wi-Fi, and free parking. You’ll be able to take a rest at this hotel between trips to the Strip.

Since the rooms here are quite large, this is another great hotel for families staying in Las Vegas. However, it’s not a traditional hotel, so it can be difficult to book here. The best way that I have found to book this hotel is through a 3rd party website like Booking.com or Expedia and make sure they have your dates available.

Best Indoor Pools Las Vegas (Off of the Strip)

These are the off-Strip hotels with indoor pools. Hotels located off of the Las Vegas Strip are typically more affordable than their counterparts on the Strip. Each of these Las Vegas hotels offers an excellent deal if you want access to a swimming pool. Just keep in mind that you’ll have to travel to the Strip.

Best Western Plus Las Vegas West

The Best Western Plus Las Vegas West is another one of the Las Vegas hotels with indoor pools. It has a good-sized indoor swimming pool and a hot tub. The hotel is located about a 15-minute drive from the Las Vegas Strip, near the Red Rock Casino. Room rates for the hotel are in the $100-$150 a night range.

SpringHill Suites Las Vegas Henderson

The Spring Hill Suites Las Vegas Henderson is one of the lesser know hotels with indoor pools. It’s located about 20 minutes off of the Las Vegas Strip, but the hotel has a great swimming pool. Rates fluctuate between $150 to $200/night.

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Las Vegas Nellis

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham can be found near Nellis Airforce Base in the north part of the city. Wyndham Las Vegas has one of the smaller Las Vegas hotel pools, but you can still get some swimming in if you need to. It’s an indoor pool so the water is heated year-round. Rates at this Las Vegas La Quinta are consistently in the $120-$150 range.

Hawthorn Suites By Wyndham Las Vegas/Henderson

The Hawthorne Suites by Wyndham Las Vegas is home to one of the larger indoor pools in Vegas. It’s located in Henderson, which is the south-eastern part of the city if you’re not familiar. A drive to the Las Vegas Strip isn’t long if you have a rental car (about 30 minutes). Visitors can usually stay at this hotel for under $100 a night. This is a very affordable hotel.

Best Western Plus North Las Vegas Inn & Suites

The Best Western North Las Vegas Inn & Suites is another hotel with an indoor pool in the northern part of the city. The rates are really good-you can usually stay here for around $100 per night. The hotel has an indoor/outdoor swimming pool that’s normally open in the winter.

Best Las Vegas Hotel with an Indoor Pool

All of the hotels listed above are solid options for anyone looking for an indoor pool in Las Vegas. If the pool itself is what’s most important to you, then I would say go with Bluegreen Club 36 or the Embassy Suites. The Bluegreen club has the best indoor pool complex, however, it can be annoying to book since it’s not a traditional hotel.

The Embassy Suites also has an above-average indoor pool for a Las Vegas hotel. The only downside is that prices fluctuate quite dramatically throughout the year. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you can get a good deal.

For most people, I would recommend the Platinum Hotel. The Platinum is an excellent Vegas hotel that provides top-notch accommodations along with superb amenities. The indoor pool is relatively large, as well as the rooms. It’s also very family-friendly and close to the Las Vegas Strip.

If you’re on a tighter budget, I would recommend the La Quinta Inn & Suites. The La Quinta is a slightly cheaper hotel than the Platinum, especially considering the hotel doesn’t charge a resort fee and offers free breakfast. However, their pool is just as good.

Any of the hotels located off of the Strip are simply too far from the action. Most people visiting Las Vegas tend to stay on Las Vegas Boulevard, so booking a hotel far off the Strip is just a hassle.

Las Vegas Hotels Without an Indoor Pool

If you do an online search for “indoor pools Las Vegas,” you’ll find a couple of websites that list out all of the indoor swimming pools. However, after doing some research myself, I have found that many of these sites are inaccurate. Here are some of the popular hotels that DO NOT have indoor pools:

  • Bellagio Resort & Casino
  • Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino
  • Venetian Resort Las Vegas
  • Luxor Hotel & Casino
  • Las Vegas Tropicana Casino

Most Las Vegas Hotels only Have Outdoor Pools

The vast majority of hotels in Las Vegas have outdoor pools but not indoor pools. Keep this in mind when comparing hotels on third-party travel websites. Many of these websites are not up to date, or in some cases, completely wrong when it comes to listing amenities (like indoor pools).

Many Las Vegas hotels have small spa pools but not swimming pools. These small dipping pools are located in the hotel’s spa, so access to them costs between $50-$100 a day. And these pools are not ideal for families that bring their kids to Las Vegas.

If you’re looking for a real indoor swimming pool while in Vegas, I recommend sticking to a hotel listed above. I have personally verified that all of the hotels on this list have year-round indoor pools.

If you’re visiting Las Vegas in the winter and want to stay directly on the Las Vegas Strip, check out the post I wrote here about Las Vegas hotels with heated outdoor pools. While the hotel pools on the Strip are all outdoors, a few of them are actually heated and open year-round.

Las Vegas is a city that gets extremely hot in the summer, but pretty cold in the winter. Many forget that resorts in Las Vegas do not all have a swimming pool located indoors. You don’t want to be outside in Nevada during the winter.
